Getting Ready

Heading to Dallas soon to a HCMF meet at a fellow Honda chopperhedz house. Doing a little prelim packing, trying out a couple of different bag options. I have a few dry dags but I'm going go with a good old Lowe Alpine Pack. Everything else was just too wide. And if theres one thing I have to have it's a good pillow, no questions. Next couple of days I'll be going down my check list making sure the bike is good to go. All my nuts and bolts tight, fresh oil, etc. Looks like it's going to be a good meet and we might have quite a few states represented. Pics and Video to come.

 

The new spare fuel bottles. It will get me an extra 20 or so miles.

Do or do not

There's a saying I like. "The beauty of the art lies in the doing". Fuck the finished product. Fuck the end result. None of it matters without the doing. Turning theory, thoughts and words into action. Do it.

Bars for buddies

Just wrapping up these bars for Wizard, a fellow chopperhead. Still have to clean up the welds a little. Welding tube is tough to get looking good. I think TIG does a real clean job but I'm using a MIG. This is my second set I've made, my first was for my own bike and I learned quite a bit. Its no Zombie Performance bars but I'm pleased. They are even and square so what more can you ask for.

Caught a nail

Managed to pick up a nail the other day. I just happened to be near Jason's Cycle in Folsom and limped in. He pretty quickly got me back on the road. If you get a chance use his services and buy his goods. He's way cheaper than any place around and he's a local small business. Show him some love.
